WeWork Labs India wanted to step into the world of thought leadership with something deeper than social posts and surface-level content. They envisioned a long-form podcast series that could spotlight founders, VCs, and operators shaping India’s startup ecosystem not through hype, but through meaningful conversations. As their independent content consultant and production parter, we built their first-ever podcast series from the ground up, shaping everything from creative strategy to full scale production, and post-production. Seven episodes, twenty-one shorts, and one flagship series trailer later, the foundation for their thought-leadership content engine was in place.
Challenges
The ambition was clear but the path wasn’t simple. WeWork Labs had the vision but needed someone who could translate it into a structured, high-impact podcast. The challenges included: Building a full podcast format from zero: tone, cadence, structure, thematic depth Curating high-calibre guests across founders, investors, and operators Maintaining narrative clarity in long-form conversations where value matters more than volume Managing end-to-end production across multiple months Ensuring fast, consistent post-production for long episodes and multiple repurposed assets Creating short-form clips that retained nuance while staying platform-friendly All of this had to be executed in a way that made the series not just functional, but impactful, something that reflected the maturity and ambition of WeWork Labs.
Solution
To bring the vision to life, we built a six-month creative and operational pipeline from scratch. This included: Defining the podcast identity - tone, narrative flow, depth of conversations Coordinating and leading seven full-scale shoots with a production crew Driving post-production through a two-tier editing workflow: junior editor for trims, and the director for final pacing and storytelling Repurposing long-form content into high-retention shorts for platforms like LinkedIn & Instagram Delivering a polished content suite: 7 full episodes, 21 shorts, and a cinematic trailer capturing the soul of the series It not only elevated WeWork Labs’ leadership narrative but also set the template for future content-first initiatives within the brand.
